Sarah is a graduate of the General Studies program at Harding University and is married to Andrew, a graduate from the Bible and Religion program at Harding. Sarah and Andrew were married in December 2007 and are currently living in Mtwara, Tanzania as part of a church planting and rural development team. Their passion for working among the poor started young in Sarah who lived the first 5 years of her life in Eldoret, Kenya where her parents were missionaries. The couple realized their calling to working overseas in the summer of 2007 after an internship in Mbarara, Uganda where they saw first-hand the need for a holistic presentation of the gospel in a relationship-driven, discipleship model.
Sarah is a talented cook with a passion for the environment and for hosting people in their home. Andrew is a “hands-on” guy who loves woodworking and can usually be found hand-deep in their vegetable garden. The couple shares a passion for agricultural development which they hope to share with the Makonde people of Southern Tanzania.
In March 2010, Reed Ellen Fraser joined the family. She is an energetic and delightful toddler (most of the time). She has adapted to living in Tanzania the fastest; She’s making new friends, learning the language, and is a constant blessing to those around her… especially her parents.
Andrew and Sarah:
I saw on your “to-do” list that you need to learn to sew by hand. I would be happy to teach you that. I love to sew. Just reply with a day/time (in the evening) and maybe we can work something out!

Precious Sarah, What a delight it was to “run into” you last Fri. in the Searcy Med. Center lobby!!! You have been popping into my mind constantly since seeing you. I know you are in transition as I post this and I am lifting you and your precious family up in prayer. I’ve so enjoyed reading your blog and catching up with what has been going on in your life. Oh my goodness, Reed is WOW, sooooooo beautiful. I cried tears of joy as I watched the video of you reading to your precious little one. I can not even imagine how proud your parents are of you. I will continue to lift your family and your team up in prayer. God is smiling upon you. I love you, Sarah!!!!! Kelly Killough

Just wanted to say hi and really hoping you had a good Christmas in the nice hotell in Dar and Happy New Year to you both! Was great meeting you in Tanzania. I’m now in Milledgeville, Atlanta. College starts tomorrow but because of bad weather condition classes are closed tomorrow. Milledgeville seems to be a friendly place and I’m excited to settle here for a while. Have you got the car?
